·       Previous experience with accounts with 2000 employees or more.  

·       A proven sales background of consistent achievement against quota  

·       Used to meeting with and presenting to C-level / executive level contacts within customers’ accounts  

·       Used to working with the Channel as well as developing business directly  

·       Able to effectively partner and engage with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and sales engineers, as well as liaising with external partners at all levels

TMS Senior Principal Consultant/ TMS Design Architect role:

  • Lead the delivery of Manhattan Transportation Management projects. Ensure the overall success of an implementation from inception to installation, including managing project scope, design, deliverables, issue escalation and resolution.
  • Ensure the development of professional client relationships, client satisfaction and referencability.
  • Manage means by which to quantify metrics for success at go-live and thereafter.
  • Identify critical business, technical, and/or operational issues and drive issues to closure, identify potential ‘optimization’ opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross function teams including Sales, Product Management and Marketing.


Minimum requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelors equivalent degree in supply chain, logistics, computer science, engineering, business or a related field.
  • Experience working in a client or customer facing role within a supply chain or software organization including 3PL, transportation area or TMS vendor or a final client company.
  • Up to 50 % travel required.
  • Consulting experience in transport management field (TMS).
  • Strong interest in technical field.
  • Good understanding of WMS (warehouse management systems) is a plus.

Language requirements:

  • Fluent English and other European languages desirable.
