Over de functie

Als salesmanager ben jij verantwoordelijk voor onze sales activiteiten. Je gaat aan de slag met het ontwikkelen van verschillende soorten projecten in de industrie, van kortlopende industriële projecten, tot grotere projecten waar ook de producten van onze andere bedrijven (bijv. kabelassemblages) ingezet gaan worden.Je bouwt onze bestaande contacten uit en bent verantwoordelijk voor de vragen die bij ons binnenkomen, maar je zet ook volop in op nieuwe markten en proposities. Hiervoor werk je samen met een klein en enthousiast salesteam. Naast de samenwerking met het salesteam, ben je ook nauw verbonden met de andere takken van ons bedrijf. Zo hou je de werkvloer op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen  en draag je de technische specificaties van een project over aan het operationele team.

JOB PURPOSE:

In this role, you will be tasked with providing hands-on implementation and deployment services to our customers. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and hands-on individual who can rapidly learn the Okta platform, our technology and the value proposition that we bring to customers of all sizes. You will engage multiple concurrent customer deployment projects with the number one goal to ensure long-term customer success. Additionally you will interact with the full Customer Success team in order to assure a smooth transition post-deployment to the support/maintenance phases. Finally, you will also have a responsibility for the continuous improvement of delivery processes and methods.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work hands on with Okta customers, primarily in a post-sales role, to provide innovative consulting services.
  • Gather, analyze, and document post-sales requirements.
  • Communicate to customers and partners at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation.
  • Be dedicated in providing excellent design and deployment solutions resulting in extraordinary customer satisfaction.
  • Be prompt and deliver high quality service and leadership to align with customer goals and requests.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, status, and documentation.
  • Mentor and train customers on the service.
  • Act as a liaison between Customers and Product Management to drive product development.
  • Lead interaction and collaboration with other Okta teams such as Engineering and Support as needed to address escalated issues.
  • Interact with management and other roles within the customer organization and Okta.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on existing customers up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Perform hands on technical design, configuration, and troubleshooting of the Okta service.
  • Shape and Influence Okta’s growth and scalability, by designing new offerings, and finding new ways to deliver amazing customer satisfaction
  • Work on multiple concurrent deployment projects.
  • May provide mentoring, guidance, and expertise to less experienced team members.
  • Ensure quality and time management processes are followed by team (e.g., change controls, time tracking).
  • Commit to and use a knowledge repository for deployment standard methodologies and other customer ideas as continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Software development experience (Java, Ruby, .Net, PHP, REST/JSON, etc).
  • Experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
  • Experience in designing and implementing security and identity management solutions to support critical systems and business programs.
  • Experience with technologies and protocols to support identity federation and robust access control models (e.g., SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Some knowledge of enterprise web technologies, security and cutting-edge infrastructures.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-functionally supporting the development of client work you're doing.
  • General knowledge of cloud architectures as well as complex enterprise on-premise IT landscapes.
  • Knowledge of typical enterprise identity life cycle management processes and standards.
  • AD and LDAP experience is preferred.
  • SaaS deployment experience: Salesforce, Box, Office 365, Workday and HR as master for identities preferred.
  • Ability to Multi-task and manage multiple customer engagements is a requirement.
  • Able and willing to be a hands-on contributor.
  • Superb communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging and crisis management.
  • Experience in Process Improvement, Decision-making, Managing Processes, Planning, Analyzing Information and Developing Standards.
  • Experience with JavaScript and one of the major JavaScript MVC frameworks (Backbone, Angular, Ember, React, etc.)
  • Familiar with API management using Mulesoft, Axway or Apigee preferred.

What the Role is About

As the Partner Account Manager, you are responsible for defining and executing a strategy to grow revenue from the Siteimprove partner community, recruiting and engaging with partners for joint business development and maximizing short- and long-term revenue opportunities with these partners.

Furthermore, as a member of the sales team, you are expected to drive sales with and through partners, including creation and distribution of leads to the sales team, supporting the sales process with the partner and selling our solution to the partner where that has best fit.

This is a fast-paced, high growth and collaborative position, so you will need to be a self-starter with strong initiative and comfortable moving forward into what can sometimes be referred to as an ambiguous and undefined space.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Benelux & France and working closely with the global partner team in Copenhagen, the PAM will:

  • Write business cases and strategy for partnering in the Benelux region.
  • Recruit partners into the Siteimprove Ecosystem to generate leads and new revenue opportunities.
  • Establish a proven formula for making partnerships in the region successful.
  • Strategically support the complex sales cycle process within larger enterprises.
  • Define and help drive partner campaigns and events with specific partners.
  • Coordinate efforts across functions (sales, marketing and customer success) to ensure the team provides a consistent unified approach when working with a partner.
  • Effectively negotiate price, delivery, incentives and terms to ensure success from our partner relationships .
  • Keep current on product features, advantages, benefits, and selling points for effective communication and translate benefits to partners and customers.
  • Accurate forecasting of partner revenue tied to the leads and direct pipeline.
  • Provide training to key partner stakeholders (sales teams, customer success, account executives) to ensure adoption of Siteimprove products in their sales toolbox and ultimately strong revenue streams from each of our partners.
  • Work alongside management and senior members of the local, regional and global sales and partnership teams to constantly drive the Siteimprove value proposition.

What We Require of You

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a partnership role, ideally within a software company.
  • Demonstratable success in optimizing partner relationships that have delivered strong revenue wins (we’ll ask for evidence).
  • Gravitas to operate across all levels of an organization, from C-suite to customer facing sales.
  • Ability to map out and steer all of the stakeholders necessary to get a deal signed to the table.
  • Deep understanding of what makes a partnership work, including the steps and process required to get Siteimprove into all sales conversations.
  • Experience working with CMS vendors or MarTech agencies (ideally both).
  • Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically.
  • Strong verbal, written & presentation communication skills in Dutch and English.

What We'll Love About You

  • In addition to direct partnership experience, ideally you will have 3+ years of relevant, quota-carrying sales experience as either a SBDM/Sales Director or Enterprise AE.
  • Experience selling to larger enterprises or comparable complex verticals.
  • Experience working in channel sales.
  • Experience with Magento, Demandware, Adobe Experience Manager or similar Content Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills (sales, customer success and senior management).
  • Ability to work closely with the entire partner organization, gaining direction and guidance from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills.
  • Language skills in French will be an advantage.

Als salesmanager ben jij verantwoordelijk voor onze sales activiteiten. Je gaat aan de slag met het ontwikkelen van verschillende soorten projecten in de industrie, van kortlopende industriële projecten, tot grotere projecten waar ook de producten van onze andere bedrijven (bijv. kabelassemblages) ingezet gaan worden.Je bouwt onze bestaande contacten uit en bent verantwoordelijk voor de vragen die bij ons binnenkomen, maar je zet ook volop in op nieuwe markten en proposities. Hiervoor werk je samen met een klein en enthousiast salesteam. Naast de samenwerking met het salesteam, ben je ook nauw verbonden met de andere takken van ons bedrijf. Zo hou je de werkvloer op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen  en draag je de technische specificaties van een project over aan het operationele team.
