Signify Maarheeze is the sole supplier of (chemical) components to conventional lighting applications. As a supply chain planner you’ll be responsible for efficient and effective supply. Together with your colleagues within our supply chain team you will ensure material flow and maximize service to our customers. You are multi-skilled and you can operate in supply planning, production planning and customer service.

What you’ll do

  • Source raw materials and interface with suppliers to monitor in time delivery; Maintain relationship with suppliers contributing to long term relationships.

  • Support and back-up the customer service officer. You will be in contact with our global customers about orders and order status. You will be invoicing and documenting global shipments.

  • Support and back-up the production planner. You will align sourcing plans with production plans and you will be capable to step-in in times of absence.

  • You will be using problem solving skills to counter problems and prevent those for recurring in future. You will document those improvements in standardized work.

  • You will be leading improvement projects to maximize service, optimize flow, maximize standardization and improve digitization.

Your qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor degree OR a MBO degree + at least 5 years of working experience.

  • You are a team player and you take ownership over team performance objectives. You have your own set of tasks and objectives and still you are ready to step in and support your colleague. You are able of multi-task and maintain helicopter view.

  • You have a track record within supply chain roles and you are multi-skilled. You have ambition to learn lagging capabilities.

  • You drive continuous improvement. Every problem is an opportunity to improve.

  • You can lead improvement projects within the area of supply chain or related topics. You know how to apply change management skills.

  • You know how to apply LEAN principles.

Onze opdrachtgever is groeiende en het aantal verschillende producten en productiehoeveelheden nemen toe. Als Supply Chain Planner zorg jij dat de bestelde materialen op tijd worden besteld en binnenkomen, productiematerialen op tijd verstuurd worden naar de productielocatie in Slovakije, en dat eindproducten van goede kwaliteit weer op tijd in het magzijn beschikbaar zijn om vervolgens naar klanten wereldwijd verstuurd te kunnen worden.

Op basis van de verkoopverwachting plan jij de gehele pijplijn die voor de verkoop uit gaat; van eindproducten op voorraad, naar het assemblageplan tot de tijdige bestelling van onderdelen bij de diverse (veelal buitenlandse) leveranciers. In het systeem zijn alle benodigde componenten met de bestelgegevens van een product geregistreerd. Je houdt zicht op de voorraden en uitleveringen uit de productie. Daarnaast zorg jij er ook voor dat de kwaliteitsregistratie op orde is.

Kortom jij gaat het volgende doen:

  • Op basis van de verkoopverwachtingen bepaal jij de productie behoefte
  • Dit vertaal je via de materiaallijsten (BOM) weer tot de onderdelenbehoefte voor de assemblage
  • Aan de hand van de huidige voorraden bestel jij het benodigde materiaal en inkooponderdelen tegen de juiste prijs, juiste kwaliteit en juiste leverdatum
  • Vervolgens houd je intensief contact met de toeleveranciers om ervoor te zorgen dat de producten op tijd binnenkomen
  • Je houdt contact met onze assemblage leverancier over de productievoortgang en benodigde matieralen
  • Je controleert of de binnengekomen facturen overeenkomen met jouw inkoopopdrachten en geeft deze vrij voor betaling als jij vindt dat de leverancier aan de eisen voldaan heeft
  • Je plant de werkzaamheden in voor het magazijn zodat zij precies weten waar zij hun energie op moeten richten
  • Je voorziet je collega's van het magazijn en verkoop van de informatie waar hun behoefte aan hebben
  • Je signaleert leverproblemen, loste deze problemen op en communiceert dit intern
  • Je neemt initiatief en doet voorstellen ter verbetering

The role

As a logistics coordinator, you will be vital in our customer success journey. You will love to work with accuracy and efficiency and manage the distribution and logistics process to ensure our customers are getting their deliveries right first time. This role supports domestic and international shipments.

Responsibilities will include

  • Coordinates and consolidates domestic and international shipments under moderate supervision
  • Interprets laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate the shipment from the supplier to the customer throughout the distribution process
  • Works with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are met based on Planning and Transport activities
  • Coordinates and manages offline shipments
  • Coordinate (pro-actively) daily expedite requests
  • Ensure timely ERP transactions
  • Managing the daily shipping exceptions from carriers to (end-)customers and provide PODs
  • Coordinate and monitor incoming replenishment shipments from factory to EMEA DCs
  • Planning and managing high value instrument and/or consumables shipments from DCs to customers, and coordinating timely collections and deliveries
  • Managing daily centralized email account department 

Preferred background, skills and experience

  • Experience preparing (export) shipping documents, coordinating international shipments
  • Experience in working with an ERP system preferred, SAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other applications which are frequently used within the organization
  • Basic knowledge of inventory planning and Logistics processes on local level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Familiar with ISO regulated environment preferred

The Supply Chain Coordinator works closely together with the project planner to define a realistic and committed supply plan for the project, and then helps to coordinate and support all functions within the Supply Chain Center (supply engineering, procurement, shipping, etc.) to execute the plan, while not assuming the responsibilities for these functions. JOB TASKS AND DUTIES Act as a Supply Chain Center contact person for the project team (Project Manager/ Project Leader Engineering/ Project Planner/ Site Supervisor) Responsible for monitoring, prioritizing and reporting progress of supply orders, for each assigned project. Identify and communicate all delays with a possible corrective action to the project team in a timely, organized and consistent manner; Monitor and manage the SCC USA equipment budget for each assigned project; Provide input, if requested, during the sales phase to assist Systems Engineering in producing a competitive proposal and realistic rough-cut project supply plan; Once a project is sold, work closely with the project team to produce a Project Supply Plan, optimizing QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology and Cost), while also mitigating risk; Coordinate and plan all bulk material supply, with continuous monitoring through the bulk balance reporting; Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS BS, BA degree or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) degree. Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards Enterprise One preferred). Purchasing (creation, monitoring and expediting) Material Planning (MRP, kanban replenishment) Demand Planning (Forecasting, Supply history analysis) Strong computer skills, excellent MS Office skills. Analytical research within databases Develop presentations and reports Good negotiating and procurement skills. Excellent communications skills; strong people skills, team player. Able to communicate easily across different hierarchical levels. Strong organizational skills. Signify Maarheeze is the sole supplier of (chemical) components to conventional lighting applications. Although the inroad of LED products have an impact, the conventional lighting business has a strategic value to Signify. Next to that, Signify Maarheeze is investing in new business opportunities (e.g. supplying to 3D Printing business) to create a future proof business. Over the past couple of years these new business opportunities have been growing rapidly and currently contributing to 25% of our business value.

As a supply chain planner you’ll be responsible for efficient and effective supply. Together with your colleagues within our supply chain team you will ensure material flow and maximize service to our customers. You are multi-skilled and you can operate in supply planning, production planning and customer service.

What you’ll do

  • Source raw materials and interface with suppliers to monitor in time delivery; Maintain relationship with suppliers contributing to long term relationships.

  • Support and back-up the customer service officer. You will be in contact with our global customers about orders and order status. You will be invoicing and documenting global shipments.

  • Support and back-up the production planner. You will align sourcing plans with production plans and you will be capable to step-in in times of absence.

  • You will be using problem solving skills to counter problems and prevent those for recurring in future. You will document those improvements in standardized work.

  • You will be leading improvement projects to maximize service, optimize flow, maximize standardization and improve digitization.

Your qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor degree OR a MBO degree + at least 5 years of working experience.

  • You are a team player and you take ownership over team performance objectives. You have your own set of tasks and objectives and still you are ready to step in and support your colleague. You are able of multi-task and maintain helicopter view.

  • You have a track record within supply chain roles and you are multi-skilled. You have ambition to learn lagging capabilities.

  • You drive continuous improvement. Every problem is an opportunity to improve.

  • You can lead improvement projects within the area of supply chain or related topics. You know how to apply change management skills.

  • You know how to apply LEAN principles.
