Je komt te werken bij de afdeling Transport Management van Base Logistics. Waar je samen met je teamgenoten klanten te woord staat over hun logistieke vragen. Je inventariseert de wensen van onze klanten en helpt ze aan de beste oplossing. Je werkt verder samen met een heel team van logistiek experts.
Je coördineert en plant pakket-, spoed- en wegtransporten van onze (inter-) nationale klanten, met de administratieve handelingen die daarbij horen. Ook het organiseren van speciale transporten zoals kraantransport, transport met vergunning en spoedorders is onderdeel van jouw takenpakket.
Daarnaast geef je onze klanten advies over de beste transportoplossing en bijkomende documentatie. Wereldwijd actieve klanten en transporteurs sta je te woord via telefoon, e-mail en de software die we in eigen beheer hebben ontwikkeld. Verder houd je klanten proactief op de hoogte van de status van hun zendingen.

Wat ga je doen?
Jij gaat zorgen voor een tijdige en correcte productie en levering van projectorders. Hiervoor controleer je per projectorder de materiaalbehoefte en stem je dit indien nodig af met inkoop en onze eigen productieafdeling. Je maakt werkorders aan en plant ze in bij eigen productie of bij assemblagepartners en monitort de voortgang. Bij afwijkingen in producten, voorraden, leverdata en bij meer-minderwerk onderneem je actie en informeert de belanghebbenden. Dit, alsmede kosten en baten en projectspecifieke artikelen leg je per project vast in het systeem. Tot slot evalueer je na het project met de belanghebbenden. Wat vragen wij van jou?
Je hebt Hbo- werk- en -denkniveau, verkregen door opleiding en/of ervaring, je hebt aantoonbare affiniteit met elektrotechniek en ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie. Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.

Omschrijving
* Voor alle MRP master data zorgdragen voor het beheren, onderhouden en wijzigen hiervan, zoals (artikel)omschrijvingen, bestelpunten, min/max niveaus, minimale bestelhoeveelheden, levertijden, verwijzingen naar tekeningen, datasheets etc.
* Aanmaken van nieuwe artikelen, in lijn met de gekende standaarden, processen en procedures en vervolgens zorgdragen dat deze artikelen op juiste en volledige wijze worden ingelezen in het ERP systeem;
* Het analyseren van omloopsnelheid van artikelen en na validatie bij stakeholders eventueel aanpassen van de voorraadstrategie;
* Identificeren van dubbelingen in het artikelbestand en het treffen van beheersmaatregelen om deze in de toekomst te voorkomen;
* Zorgdragen voor de juiste wijze van opslag van artikelen, hierbij rekening houdend met diverse parameters (zoals bijvoorbeeld gewicht, maar ook zaken als temperatuur en houdbaarheid);
* Incourante voorraad identificeren en rapporteren over deze voorraad;

Profiel van kandidaat
* Je hebt een (recent) WO opleiding in de richting van Supply Chain, Logistiek, Technische Bedrijfskunde of een andere relevante richting;

The Logistics Specialist does so by monitoring their KPIs, solving issues, and by managing projects to continuously improve service and efficiency while reducing costs and carbon. The Logistic Specialists are the linking pin between the 3PL and Unilever, which means they represent the 3PL within Unilever and represent Unilever for the 3PL. The 3PL interacts with Unilever's customers by delivering products at their distribution centers. Customers are managed by our Customer Service department where issues regarding logistics are also raised. Customer Service is therefore the most important internal stakeholder for the Logistics Specialist. By working together with Customer Service, the Logistics Specialist has to make sure Unilever is a top end supplier for our customers. Some of the services that our customers require result in additional costs and carbon emissions. * Manage 3PL performance, capacity, carbon footprint & contracts.
