Functieomschrijving
Als Linux Cloud Engineer binnen het Linux-team van de afdeling Infrastructure Services draag je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het online landschap van de VU. De nadruk ligt op Ops, je bent lid van het Linux-team maar je beweegt je voor een aanzienlijk deel van de tijd binnen het web Develop team. Het is jouw taak de omgeving te ontwikkelen, beheren en onderhouden met als doel het in productie zetten van hetgeen het Develop-team maakt. Die processen probeer je zoveel mogelijk te automatiseren.
Daarnaast gaan we dit jaar binnen de afdeling Infrastructure Services (bestaande uit de teams Netwerk, VMWare, Windows en Linux) grote stappen zetten op het gebied van automation (Ansible) en container orchestration (OpenShift). Daarbij ben je met je kennis en ervaring van waarde. Je krijgt de kans om jezelf te laten zien en je te ontwikkelen.
Functie-eisen
- Je hebt ervaring in een soortgelijke functie en je bent bekend met RedHat Linux (minimaal RHCE).
- Je hebt ervaring met cloud en container orchestration (Azure, Openshift, Rancher).
- Je vindt het leuk om te schakelen met andere IT-specialisten, samen te werken in Scrum-teams en de coördinatie van wijzigingen met een brede impact te verzorgen en je lost storingen op.
- Je bent bedreven in het automatiseren van je eigen werk (Ansible).
- Je kunt natuurlijk programmeren (Python/Bash)
Wat bieden wij
Uitdaging, verantwoordelijkheid en maatschappelijke betrokkenheid. Het salaris bedraagt afhankelijk van opleiding en ervaring op voltijdse basis minimaal € 2.790 (schaal 10) en maximaal € 5.127 (schaal 11) bruto per maand. Daarnaast beschikt de VU over aantrekkelijke secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden, zoals:
- maximaal 41 vakantiedagen bij een voltijds dienstverband
- 8% vakantietoeslag en 8,3% eindejaarsuitkering

This internship is about learning integrated purchasing and global supply planning in line with market requirements, supplier capabilities and company availability targets to best service global demand. Functieomschrijving
Als Linux Cloud Engineer binnen het Linux-team van de afdeling Infrastructure Services draag je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het online landschap van de VU. De nadruk ligt op Ops, je bent lid van het Linux-team maar je beweegt je voor een aanzienlijk deel van de tijd binnen het web Develop team. Het is jouw taak de omgeving te ontwikkelen, beheren en onderhouden met als doel het in productie zetten van hetgeen het Develop-team maakt. Die processen probeer je zoveel mogelijk te automatiseren.
Daarnaast gaan we dit jaar binnen de afdeling Infrastructure Services (bestaande uit de teams Netwerk, VMWare, Windows en Linux) grote stappen zetten op het gebied van automation (Ansible) en container orchestration (OpenShift). Daarbij ben je met je kennis en ervaring van waarde. Je krijgt de kans om jezelf te laten zien en je te ontwikkelen.
Functie-eisen
- Je hebt ervaring in een soortgelijke functie en je bent bekend met RedHat Linux (minimaal RHCE).
- Je hebt ervaring met cloud en container orchestration (Azure, Openshift, Rancher).
- Je vindt het leuk om te schakelen met andere IT-specialisten, samen te werken in Scrum-teams en de coördinatie van wijzigingen met een brede impact te verzorgen en je lost storingen op.
- Je bent bedreven in het automatiseren van je eigen werk (Ansible).
- Je kunt natuurlijk programmeren (Python/Bash)
Wat bieden wij
Uitdaging, verantwoordelijkheid en maatschappelijke betrokkenheid. Het salaris bedraagt afhankelijk van opleiding en ervaring op voltijdse basis minimaal € 2.790 (schaal 10) en maximaal € 5.127 (schaal 11) bruto per maand. Daarnaast beschikt de VU over aantrekkelijke secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden, zoals:
- maximaal 41 vakantiedagen bij een voltijds dienstverband
- 8% vakantietoeslag en 8,3% eindejaarsuitkering
- ruime bijdrage aan ABP-pensioenregeling
- keuzemodel voor fiscale uitruil van bepaalde arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Sporten op de campus (fitness en groepstraining)
De arbeidsovereenkomst wordt in eerste instantie aangegaan voor een periode van 1 jaar. Verlenging van de arbeidsovereenkomst behoort tot de mogelijkheden.
