Je zal deel uitmaken van het softwareteam. Het team bestaat momenteel uit totaal 8 engineers. Je zal ongeveer 4 tot 5 keer per jaar naar de klant op locatie gaan om te helpen bij de commissioning en zal maximaal 1 week van huis zijn. De taken zijn uitdagen en afwisselend en zo zal je te maken krijgen met:

• softwareontwikkeling: architectonisch ontwerp, implementatie en testen van besturing software;
• klantbehoeften vertalen naar haalbare product vereisten;
• configureren en afstemmen van de besturingssoftware voor een breed scala aan bewegingssystemen;
• analyseren van veldgegevens en technische assistentie verlenen aan het klantenserviceteam.

Functie-eisen

Voor de positie van Software Systems & Control vragen wij het volgende van je:

• een HBO of WO diploma richting Software, Electrical, Systems Engineering of vergelijkbaar;
• je hebt ervaring met programmeren in C++;
• ervaring met Python en Qt is een pré
• sterke softwareontwerp- en architectuurvaardigheden;
• affiniteit met besturingssystemen.

My client, a global insurance marketing consultancy company, is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam.

You will be working on developing and managing MI models and increasing the Data Science within the group within a really inclusive and international team and with a lot of room for career progression!

I am looking for someone with the following skills/experience –

• Data Science programming languages ( Python and/or R )
• Experience in data science (text mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning)
• Experience with predictive modelling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering classification (e.g GLMs, Decision Trees, SVM, Random Forests, GBM, PCA, Bayesian Networks, Neural Networks)
• Experience with software development (GIT, docstring / CI) (MLflow would be a plus)
• Experience working with remote devices (ssh / basic Linux) & Docker
• Experience with database query tools (SQL or NoSQL)
• Knowledge of ethical practices and explanability tools (SHAP)
• Masters degree in Science / Technology or similar subject
• Experience with web applications would be a plus
