Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Position Description:

Your objective as Key Account Manager Poultry is to develop and realize optimal, profitable sales of Elanco’s poultry vaccines  and anticoccidial portfolio in the Benelux market. As a partner, you will reach out to all targeted stakeholders in the poultry industry to achieve full coverage and awareness of our areas of expertise and products.

Main stakeholders are rearing companies, veterinarians, poultry farmers, (feed) sales representatives and nutritionists. Through individual meetings, facilitation of group discussions and educational programs, field evaluations, analysis of trial data from the field you will be able to promote the range of Elanco products and optional value projects. We are focusing on: 1) advice on the unique benefits and positioning of our products, and 2) implementation of strategic ‘value-beyond-product’ projects to build partnerships between Elanco and its customers. You will be a highly relevant link between our vaccine customers, Customer Service, and Finance.

Thorough product knowledge, ongoing market intelligence and a combination of consultative value selling and a strategic account management approach will result in consistent customer focus and value contribution.

You will support our vaccine portfolio in the Benelux (50%) and the anticoccidial portfolio mainly in the Netherlands (50%).

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Develop strategic account plans for targeted vaccine customers, visualized in monthly scorecard activities.
  • Realize sales growth in collaboration with the various industry partners.
  • Initiate and pursue product and non-product strategies for all account levels up to the poultry farmer.
  • Align frequently with team members, specifically on I2 activities, in order to maximize impact and add value to our customers and their businesses.
  • Professionally promote the Elanco brand, Elanco's products and share Elanco's vision and strategy with different stakeholders in the poultry industry.
  • Set up and conduct field research in close collaboration with the Technical Consultants and commercial colleagues to achieve desired interactions with the customer and/or to support our (marketing) strategy and positioning.
  • Perform product and market trend analyses.
  • Use Consultative Value Skills for optimal customers approach and growing business relationships.
  • Develop concrete action plans.
  • Initiate and perform contract negotiations in close collaboration with sales manager and Finance department. Accurately follow-up on agreements, both with the customer and internally (Customer Service and Finance) with clear communication and documentation.
  • Coordinate activities in close collaboration with partners.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience, capabilities, required certifications):

  • Completed Bachelor and/or Master Education, preferably in the field of animal science, veterinary medicine or agriculture.
  • Demonstrable focus on results and track record in relevant commercial and strategic settings.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for effective interaction and communication with customers from barn to boardroom, and with team member, even via remote contact (Phone, Skype).

Key Account Manager Mobile Network Operators
to lead the execution and deployment of all commercial activity with Dutch MNO’s (KPN,
Vodafone, T-Mobile/Tele2) in the Netherlands. This role reports directly to the Deputy
Country Managing Director/ Head of BU MNO TIS.

In this role you are responsible for:
  • Building and extending MNOs relationships by executing professional account management
  • across various departments within the MNO organization;
  • Identifying the needs of MNOs following a consulting and proactive approach;
  • Proposing to MNOs innovations that address their needs based on all available and
  • potential products and services portfolio;
  • Internally proposing pricing alternatives based on value creation, willingness to pay,
  • alternatives and technical area costs and capex specifications;
  • Elaborating Business Cases complying with our Business Rules;
  • Leading internal discussions on a Business Case prior to the presentation to the client;
  • Leading negotiations with clients and reach contractual agreements;
  • Maintaining customer relationship and monitor requests response time;
  • Attending relevant industry events.

Your profile:
You have an Engineering University Degree (preferably in Telecommunications);
Supplemented with MBA specialization courses or comparable training and education (e.g.
in Economic; Financial appraisal techniques);
Besides your natural commercial talent, with good interpersonal skills, able to establish long
lasting relationships and developing new contacts, you have followed Sales techniques
training and know all intricacies of the sales profession.
You will not manage a team, therefore you need to be a self-starter and a doer (standalone role)

Your experience:
  • A background in selling customized solutions and services to MNOs;
  • Experience in small adaptive companies rather than with large telecom contractors;
  • Experience in sales consulting approach;
  • Access and capacity to deal with senior management and decision makers of Strategy,
  • (B2B) Sales, Purchasing and (Network) Operations areas in Dutch MNO organizations;
  • Acknowledgment in at least one service of Our client portfolio: Tower Colocation (TIS), DAS,
  • MC/PN, Connectivity, Data Centres;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written;Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage

Essential Function:  

·       Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through business to business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances and services to accounts  

·       Working with the Regional Director, develop and implement specific customer accounts and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives  

·       Effectively engage sales resources: SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams and Executives on the development and implementation of customer account plans  

·       Use the CRM system effectively, responsible for the development, management and closure of forecasted opportunities

What experience(s), knowledge, and education we are looking for: 

·       University degree preferred and 2-5 years of sales experience or equivalent work experience

·       Proven Cyber Security Enterprise Field Sales, including not limited to, Cloud Security - Network Security - Experience of managing, growing and taking ownership of accounts  

·       Previous experience with accounts with 2000 employees or more.  

·       A proven sales background of consistent achievement against quota  

·       Used to meeting with and presenting to C-level / executive level contacts within customers’ accounts  

·       Used to working with the Channel as well as developing business directly  

·       Able to effectively partner and engage with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and sales engineers, as well as liaising with external partners at all levels  

·       Familiar with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN  

·       A structured and processed style of working with good time-management skills  

·       Experience of working across various vertical markets  

·       Good analytical and forecasting skills  

·       Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills
