De projecten vinden plaats in de regio Arnhem en zijn zowel nieuwbouw als verbouw projecten van technische installaties. Denk hierbij aan installaties in ziekenhuizen, militaire gebouwen en verzorgingstehuizen.
Binnen deze projecten ben je verantwoordelijk voor de financiële sturing, planning, budget, planning, tijdige indiening termijnen, signalering en afhandeling van meer- en minderwerk, kwaliteit, contractstukken en periodieke projectrapportage.
Buiten de projecten om blijf je op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen in het vakgebied en neemt hier de rest van organisatie in mee.

What do you do as an Overhead Line Technologist at TenneT?
You are an expert in your field. Based on your expertise, you closely follow national and international technological developments and translate them into specifications and practical technical innovations. You are also the point of contact for questions and advice on magnetic fields and the mutual influence of lines and cables. The line affects the environment and the environment affects the line. Based on this fact, you are involved in many related questions. After all, design choices for the connection affect, for example, E and M fields, noise, safety for the public, capacity, lifespan and maintenance management. Most important activities:
- Develops the technical policy by having technical specifications drawn up/developed.

- Fulfils an expert role for his/her area of interest within TenneT
- Drafts, approves and maintains technical specifications for the Programme of Requirements for all grids and voltage levels.
- Drafts the technical procurement specifications for tender applications, assesses tenders for accuracy and price and advises Purchasing on the choice of suppliers.
- Tests purchased and yet-to-be-purchased products on the basis of the set purchasing specifications. This ensures the technical quality of the Assets.
- Initiates and supervises innovation proposals and, where these innovation proposals result in successful pilot projects, develops the results into technical standards for projects.
- Checks, on behalf of the Project developer, feasibility studies and basic designs from a technical point of view and thereby assures the quality in projects.
- Advises on the technological solutions to be chosen, has the solutions developed by Service Providers or other service providers if applicable and tests the proposed solutions for quality.
- During the execution of projects, advises in the technical area, signals deviations, intervenes if necessary and suggests solutions.
- Advises the maintenance strategist with regard to management issues.
- You maintain a good relationship and frequent contact within the department which is focused on ownership, connection and courage and builds on open cooperation, knowledge sharing, standardisation and harmonisation.
- Advises Grid Planning and the System Operator on the use of Dynamic Line Rating to minimise the risk on congestion on high loaded overhead lines.

Your profile

  • You have an academic working and thinking level, have completed a course in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology / electro mechanics / mechanics and have a preference for mechanics and materials,
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in high voltage technology (110kV) and have demonstrable experience in the field of connections, lines and cables in high voltage technology,
  • You are thoroughly familiar with the principles, standards and regulations within the high-voltage world and have a demonstrable relevant (international) network,
  • You have a well-developed feeling for numbers and statistics, you know how to value numbers and how to illustrate this with practical examples,
  • Well-developed communication and writing skills, to the point oral presentation and extensive experience with project-based work.
  • You are curious and analytical, show awareness of your surroundings, persuade, judge considered and independent and are visible in the organisation,

The Performance Unit Asset Management TenneT (AMT) is responsible for a future-proof and maintainable electricity infrastructure. AMT steers primarily on risk and performance of the infrastructure. AMT identifies bottlenecks and estimates the risk of these bottlenecks. AMT is responsible for drawing up mitigating measures and prioritizing these measures. Functiebeschrijving

Als Monteur Technische Dienst ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer & onderhoud van alle productielijnen, installaties, machines en apparatuur op locatie. Je inspecteert en lost storingen op, monteert en installeert nieuwe onderdelen en lost problemen op. Daar komen onder andere de volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden uit:

  • Toetsen, testen en inspecteren van lijnen, installaties, machines en apparatuur;
  • Oplossen van storingen, monteren van onderdelen en onderhouden van de productieomgeving;
  • Onderhoud van heftrucks;
  • Slijpen/lassen;
  • Afstemming en overleg met collega's.


Functie-eisen

De Monteur Technische Dienst is een mechanisch onderlegde techneut die het liefst in een vrije rol werkt. Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor al het onderhoud. Zonder jou valt de productie dus stil. Daarom is het belangrijk dat je de juiste prioriteiten stelt en een dienstverlenend karakter hebt. Verder ben je een echte aanpakker met een flexibele instelling en een goed kwaliteitsbesef. Samen met je team stemmen jullie zelfstandig af wie welk werk oppakt voor die dag. Dit varieert van onderhoud aan machines tot het oplossen van dagdagelijkse storingen.
Voorbeelden van werkzaamheden zijn:

  • het wisselen van een defecte motorregeling;
  • afstellen van automatische kranen, zowel op de vloer als op 10 meter hoogte;
  • BUS-errors oplossen;
  • kettingen van pushers spannen en/of vervangen;
  • het bedienen van een PLC in verband met een sensor activatie.

De productiedruk vraagt vaak om snelheid en pragmatische oplossingen, maar jij zet deze om naar duurzame oplossingen op het moment dat er een rustigere periode aanbreekt.
Je stakeholders? De teamleiders van de productie! Jij bent adviseur en sparringpartner bij verstoringen in de processen.

Jouw arbeidsvoorwaarden:

  • Je werkt in een 6 ploegenrooster, 24/7 en werkt gemiddeld 33,75 uur per week;
  • Je krijgt een contract op basis van 36,5 uur per week, want wij hebben jouw ATV uren in je salaris opgenomen;
  • Je salaris ligt tussen de €2648,- en €3643,- euro bruto per maand o.b.v. 36,5 uur;
  • Je ontvangt een ploegentoeslag van 26,1% over je bruto maandsalaris;

Dit ben jij

Veiligheid staat voorop in deze functie! Daarom werk jij veilig en verantwoord en ben je bij voorkeur in het bezit van een VCA-diploma of -certificaat. Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en als je ook kennis hebt van de Engelse en/of Duitse taal, dan is dat een pre. Verder beschik je over:

  • je hebt een afgeronde MBO4-opleiding in de richting van Elektrotechniek of Mechatronica;
  • je hebt ervaring als monteur: binnen de technische dienst, als servicemonteur of storingsmonteur;
  • je bent stressbestendig en kunt goed prioriteiten bepalen;
  • je communiceert makkelijk en weet jouw technische kennis op een makkelijke manier over te brengen aan de Teamleiders;

Het team werkt met een 24/7-rooster, wat betekent dat je ook nachtdiensten en in het weekend werkt, waarbij je er vanuit kunt gaan dat dit rooster ruim van tevoren bekend is!

Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is fully engaged in developments of new technology for education and research. We are developing artificial intelligence, data science, robotics, sensoring and decision support, data infrastructures, visualization and other technologies. Our aim is to employ these developments in innovations in environment, food, nutrition and health, animal and plant science, and social sciences. We are convinced that new technology will increasingly influence these domains and it is our ambition to be at the center of these innovations.
In order to provide support, coordination, and focus to our activities, we have organized the Wageningen Data Competence Center (WDCC). Here, a small team initiates, supports, and connects developments in Research, Education, Infrastructure, Data Management, and Value Creation.
Your role is to connect the aims of the different research groups at WUR to our common ambitions. The Coordinator Research is positioned at WDCC to play a pivotal role in this ambition. At the same time, this position can link to expertise in the team to improve the conditions for research.
The first main task is to organize program management for investment programs. WUR has various investment programs aiming at new technologies: Data Driven & High Tech, Digital Twins, Data Science/Artificial Intelligence, and also investments in modeling expertise, and strategic partnerships, with a total yearly budget on the order of several millions of euros. The scale of these programs requires efficient program management to prepare and obtain valuable and demonstrable results.
The reason to concentrate management of these programs at WDCC is to organize connections with the infrastructure and data management needed for research, with education following from this research, and with opportunities for value creation based on this research. So, the second main task is to organize these connections together with the coordinators of infrastructure, data management, education and value creation at WDCC.
The investment programs are part of the ambitions of WUR as formulated in the strategic plan. Therefore, it is necessary to connect the new developments to researchers in our entire domains, and so make the expertise in this field internally available. Therefore, your third main task is to organize internal contacts for the exchange of expertise.
Your tasks will be organized under responsibility of the Director of WDCC, in close cooperation with the team of WDCC, and maintaining and developing internal and external contacts.
Your activities mainly concentrate on the following:
  • organize and structure investment programs in projects, meetings, reporting, communication;
  • monitor quality and progress with the help of scientific experts and administrative support;
  • investigate relevant internal and external developments for potential program modifications;
  • provide information on the program to researchers, staff, and external partners;
  • organize and support contact with ministry of LNV for aims, progress, and future of the programs;
  • organize and support contact with institutes, chair groups, and other investment programs to align strategic goals.
Function Requirements
  • at least a PhD or equivalent level demonstrating research in new technologies such as artificial intelligence, data science, robotics, data infrastructures, societal aspects of digitization;
  • affinity with and preferably expertise relevant to the domain of WUR;
  • proven experience in program management of research programs;
  • proven experience in internal and external stakeholder management;
  • fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken;
  • an open and flexible attitude to organizational developments.

  • Relevant working experience in the energy or power industry, preferably with technical due diligence experience.
  • Hands-on experience in power/ waste to energy/ other industrial plant installations.
  • Effective writing and communication skills in English. Proficient Dutch language skills will be considered a plus.
