The aim of the Marketing Manager position is to develop, coordinate and implement our marketing strategy at a local level as well as executing campaigns that reach and engage our target audience, communicating our message effectively.
Working closely with our key retail partner, this role will be responsible for delivering across full 360° marketing channels, including points of sale, PR and digital to deliver marketing excellence.

About the role
The Communications Team is responsible to 1) ensure visibility and increase the brand awareness of Circle Economy to a global relevant audience of businesses and governments on city and national levels and 2) ensure that relevant, inspirational, and engaging knowledge and information is distributed and contributes to accelerating the global adoption of the circular economy.
Within the Communications Team, you are responsible to support the development of inspirational and engaging content advocating the circular economy. You understand the power of digital communications and the importance of making research more accessible to facilitate knowledge-sharing. You are able to effectively translate complex ideas into engaging and attractive digital content, from short social media videos to audio tidbits and infographics.
You will report to the Communications Manager, work closely with the Communications and Design teams as well as our internal Business Units to transform learnings and knowledge into highly engaging and inspirational visual content for all our channels.

As the Marketing Manager you will primarily help grow brand awareness and familiarity among potential new recruits, attracting qualified leads worldwide. Partnering with the HR/ Recruitment team, Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Managers from others IMC offices and Global Head of Marketing, you will manage all local marketing initiatives. Your main focus will be recruitment marketing; you will be in the lead for all campus and experienced-hire recruitment including events (in-house, campus, online), EDMs, careers site upkeep and merchandising management. Besides that, you will be taking on internal marketing projects as well as marketing around our sales activities and team.
This role is both strategic as well as operational, some specific tasks and responsibilities:
You will be the guardian of the IMC brand, ensuring it is used in all our marketing activities, both internal and external;
You will work closely with our recruitment team and external parties to develop and execute online (and other) lead generating brand & recruitment campaigns as well as other marketing communication activities to increase brand awareness;
You will create the yearly and quarterly (strategic) marketing plan, manage the campaign budget and lead the analysis of KPIs and ROIs;
Social media strategy, creating, curating and communicating content across all IMC platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)
IMC merchandising coordination, driving and upholding branding guidelines
Creation and management of all digital and physical campus hiring collateral.
Improving online applicant and click-through quality
Investigation of new platforms and hidden talent pools
Internal communication equipping management and our recruiters with a view of campaign success and candidate reach
Creation of campaigns, events and collateral that supports our Options Trading Desk
WHO YOU ARE:
7+ years of working experience in (partly) similar role.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Communications, Digital Communication, or Marketing.
Experience with development of recruitment campaigns
A proven ability to pivot between hands-on creation and managing long-term projects
A versatile collaboration and relationship-building toolkit
A strong communicator; you’ll be talking to some of society’s smartest people through conversation, event invitations, EDMs, internal comms and social posts
Mixing it up with competing deadlines and campaigns, in an environment where things move and improve very quickly.
Experience with using best practices to manage digital platforms and measuring the success of social media, website and marketing activities (analytical).
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
