Functie
Ontwikkelen en implementeren van de go-to-market strategie
  • In kaart brengen van de groeimotoren, nieuwe kansen en succesfactoren door gerichte marktanalyse, in kaart brengen van de behoefte van klanten en input van interne stakeholders.
  • Ontwikkelen en implementeren van het globale go-to-market plan van Key Technology’s Automated Inspection Systems.
  • Je positioneert Key Technology in de markt en communiceert de toegevoegde waarde aan de klanten.
  • Een goede invulling van de werkzaamheden vraagt regelmatig contact met klanten en nauwe samenwerking met collega’s van Technical Product Management, Marketing Communication en Sales & Service.

Profiel
Sterke communicator met ervaring in strategische marketing en technisch inzicht
Functie-eisen
  • Een afgeronde universitaire studie (MSc) werktuigbouwkunde, elektrotechniek, robotica of vergelijkbaar. Een bedrijfskundige studie kan ook mits er affiniteit is met techniek.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in product management, marketing of business development in een industriële B2B omgeving.
  • Kennis van of affiniteit met de voedingsindustrie is een pre.

Competenties
  • Sterk in strategische marketing, marktanalyse en business planning.

Job Profile

At the marketing department we are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager. An analytic and seasoned Team ánd Project Manager, who is in control of both the marketing department and all running projects within Filling Pieces. This role includes involvement in all marketing strategies, activities and partnerships to elevate the brand in order to consistently drive global brand awareness across all target markets and various relevant channels.


Your main responsibility is to safeguard the operational side of the department: You will lead the marketing team. You are responsible for the marketing budget spend, before, during and after costs and purchases. You keep track of the seasonal calendar and plan ahead to make sure that every aspect of marketing is aligned, shoots happen on time, and the entire team knows what has to be done and when, what has priority, etc. Last but not least, you make sure that every member of the marketing department can function well and happy within the team.


Besides leading the team, you will be the driving force behind most of our running projects. Ranging from seasonal campaigns to collaborations and events. From our own retail marketing to working with partners to create great experiences online and in their stores. In other words you do not blink when you are running multiple projects simultaneously.


What makes you great at Operational Management is your ability to always keep in mind the three constraints: budget, time and quality. You take the lead in improving the brand’s position and resonance with the modern consumer and community, together with our Commerce/Sales team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You have at least 3+ years experience in managing teams/departments within the fashion industry or in similar position
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Project Management or Producing at an agency or high profile consumer-facing brand.
  • Proven experience in managing production budgets,
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, varying from Directors, interns and artists, to production partners, brand-/sales managers, venues and media partners.
  • Ability to align people with different perspectives and priorities towards common objectives
  • Preferably have a network within the creative industry.

Job Profile

At the marketing department we are looking for a Marketing Operations Manager. An analytic and seasoned Team ánd Project Manager, who is in control of both the marketing department and all running projects within Filling Pieces. This role includes involvement in all marketing strategies, activities and partnerships to elevate the brand in order to consistently drive global brand awareness across all target markets and various relevant channels.


Your main responsibility is to safeguard the operational side of the department: You will lead the marketing team. You are responsible for the marketing budget spend, before, during and after costs and purchases. You keep track of the seasonal calendar and plan ahead to make sure that every aspect of marketing is aligned, shoots happen on time, and the entire team knows what has to be done and when, what has priority, etc. Last but not least, you make sure that every member of the marketing department can function well and happy within the team.


Besides leading the team, you will be the driving force behind most of our running projects. Ranging from seasonal campaigns to collaborations and events. OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to Global Director of New Business & Marketing and working closely with both the Programming and Operations team, the candidate should be an excellent organizer and communicator, with a passion for content.

This is a key role in a fast-paced and dynamic organisation, requiring strong organizational skills, absolute attention to detail and self-motivation. It is a position with a wealth of opportunities for professional and personal growth in a leading content business. Due to the nature of press, from time to time some out of hours work will be required.

The objectives for the role are to:

  • Manage Motion business communications:
    • to work with Motion’s senior management team to help execute Motion’s communications in a way which describes and promotes as effectively as possible, the business, its content and its staff.
    • to ensure Motion’s business is represented internally and externally, in terms of marketing, press and PR, according to agreed Motion strategy, contractual obligations and policies.
    • to be Motion’s point of contact for all matters relating to Motion’s global marketing, press and public relations, coordinating with senior managers within Motion, GroupM and where relevant WPP.
    • Manage Motion’s social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn)
  • Manage Motion’s website, ensuring it is kept up to date and in line with WPP, GroupM and Motion policy.
  • Work with the Programming and Distribution team to coordinate marketing materials for major television markets.
  • Provide project management support for creative and partner projects, managing the end-to-end delivery of different initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

External Communications

  • Work with Motion’s leadership team and GroupM marketing team, to help the continual shaping and execution of Motion’s marketing and communication strategy.
  • Cultivate relationships with key press and public relations contacts for whom the role will be the first point of contact for media enquiries.
  • Coordinate approvals, amendments and distribution of all Motion marketing, press and PR for the UK, EMEA and North America (NA) and work with the APAC team to help drive their comms and share their news internally within GroupM.
  • Maintain an event calendar of key events at which Motion may wish to consider having a presence / involvement (eg conferences, festivals, television, and digital markets) including tx and awards dates.
  • Fully engage with Motion’s business strategy, as well understanding GroupM and WPP’s policy pertaining to communications.
  • Update and manage Motion’s show catalogue and slate slides working with the support of the Global Regional Director to ensure Motion-generated synopses fit in-house style.
  • Strategize ways that Motion can create and promote content to attract new partners and advertisers.
  • Coordinate marketing materials from distributors in advance of major markets, checking for consistency, accuracy and credits, sending approvals or suggestions as appropriate.

Internal Communications

  • Manage the distribution of all internal Motion/GroupM/WPP communications.
  • Ideate, source and structure content for Motion’s quarterly newsletter
  • Key point of communication with GroupM marketing team on all communications requests
  • Collate list of Motion’s launch titles at key markets.
  • Create and update all one-page slate slides.
  • Ensure Motion employees and markets have access to latest marketing materials.
  • Ensure all imagery related to our shows is kept updated and accessible for marketing needs.

Website, Social Media and Systems:

  • Manage Motion’s social media strategy and presence ensuring new content
  • Manage Motion’s website keeping it up to date in terms of shows represented, and news stories.
  • Manage Motion’s internal SharePoint ensuring the latest news, imagery, and marketing materials are updated and implement training for any new joiners
  • Work closely with operations team to ensure we are collaborating and contributing on systems and databases
  • Edit and create new and existing content for website, newsletter and social purposes
  • Source, create and write content and posts for quarterly newsletter
  • Create and upload content to the website and social media platforms.


Support:

  • Support the Regional Director in creating and updating programming pitch materials.
  • Support the Distribution team in monitoring additional costs related to distributor marketing activity and securing approvals as appropriate.
  • Support the Global Director of Distribution and the Rights Manager to present new programming to distributors, occasionally as required.
  • Support Business Development Director with the management of complex projects with strong organization of process, communications and output of different deliverables
  • Liaise with GroupM’s IT and systems teams over department issues and requests

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • A strong interest in and good understanding of the domestic and international broadcast landscape (including trends, highlights, key players, key content)
  • A confident communicator and presenter with a constantly professional approach and proven ability to handle difficult personalities and pressured situations
  • Awareness of the PR significance of social media
  • Superior organisational and time management skills with an acute and thorough attention to detail and a dedicated ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Excellent ability to work independently and proactively, to prioritise workloads and multi-task, managing high work levels and ever changing and conflicting priorities
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones accommodating international deadlines as and when required, plus occasional weekend emails and the ability to be on call in the event of crisis situations developing
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to push the bar and create the new to promote Motion both internally and externally

Monitors category/brand performance 

  • Monthly monitoring of product performance via Nielsen / Nets sales
  • Tracking innovation performance vs. objectives
  • Identifies corrective action plans to be put in place if needed

 

Recommends & implements Brand innovation plan

  • Analyzes business gaps & opportunities via Nielsen for his category/brands
  • Localizes portfolio & Pricing strategy for each growth initiatives identified based on the European strategy & grid
  • Assesses financial potential of each innovation in the different markets  and re-adjust all year long as hypothesis get confirmed, with the support of Finance & Retail Marketing Teams
  • Implements innovation plan: lead sku and artwork processes, localize IMC materials (Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Key Visual, website, e-comm assets), recommend and implement consumer launch plans

Profile
