Je wordt opgeleid en ingewerkt op ons brievensorteercentrum. Hier worden duizenden poststukken en pakketten automatisch gesorteerd door onze sorteermachines. Je werkt met verschillende machines en jij en je collega’s van het techniekteam hebben de belangrijke taak om ervoor te zorgen dat onze processen blijven draaien. Je zorgt ervoor dat de machines goed onderhouden worden, (mechanische) onderdelen worden hersteld en vervangen en dat storingen snel en effectief worden opgelost. Dit kan zijn van het weer aan de gang krijgen van een vastgelopen transportband, het updaten van een IT-communicatiesysteem tot de vervanging van elektronische schakelingen. Jij bent degene die instructies geeft aan de medewerkers die met deze machines werken.
Naarmate je voldoende kennis hebt van de verschillende machines en systemen en zelfstandig kunt werken, zal je gaan werken op ons nieuwe gerobotiseerde sorteercentrum.
Als servicetechnicus werk je volgens een rooster in wisselende diensten, waarbij je regelmatig ook ’s avonds en ’s nachts werkt. Kortom, in alle opzichten een afwisselende baan!
