What are you going to do as a Category Manager?
You will be working in the Corporate Procurement department together with six other Category Managers and specialists for Technology, Contracting and Business Processes. Together with them and the Managers Procurement in the OC's you are a member of the Procurement Leadership, working together intensively to drive the development of the Procurement function and to contribute to the strategic ambitions of Neways to become one Neways. You are responsible for defining and implementing the procurement strategy of the Semiconductors category and arranging the best possible conditions, focusing on Quality, Logistics, Technology and Total Costs (QLTC). With your management skills, you lead the team of Semiconductor buyers who work in the different Operating Companies (OC's). With this Category Team you set up and manage the Semiconductor supply base in line with the category strategy. You are involved in operational escalations from the OC's. Therefore you will meet with these buyers and with their site procurement managers in The Netherlands and abroad on a regular basis, both on-line and on-site. You will give them functional direction and, as a project leader, you are responsible for a number of procurement projects. Procurement is in full development, therefor we implemented the "Neways Procurement Academy" for all procurement employees within the Neways organization.
Your tasks also include:
  • define category strategy and define and execute the implementation plan, within the guidelines of the Neways Group sourcing strategy and company goals;
  • create alignment and full commitment for your category strategy with stakeholders on all levels within the company and in all operating companies;
  • be accountable for the management of all supplier accounts within your category within the total Neways Group; this includes QLTC performance management, periodic account meetings and business reviews on management and senior management level;
  • be accountable for negotiations executed by the buyers in your team;
  • work closely together with the Procurement Technology Officer and Neways Technologies in different processes;
  • maintain and expand relationships with the most important semiconductor distributors and manufacturers;
  • actively support customer bid processes with the best possible semiconductor solutions.

What do we ask of you?
You are an experienced manager and know how to organize and improve the internal procurement organization in an effective and inspiring way. You make things transparent and discussable and do not avoid conflicts. Furthermore, we ask:
  • A bachelor or master in the field of technical business, for example electronics, mechanical engineering or technical business administration.
  • Relevant diplomas in the field of procurement (e.g. NEVI-1 and NEVI-2, preferably NEVI-3).
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communicative and contractual skills in Dutch, English and German is desirable.
  • Analytical and structured.
  • Leader of change.
  • Good listener and effective conflict management while maintaining the relationship.

What are you going to do as a Hardware Designer?
As Hardware Designer you will be part of the operational group within Neways Technologies and the Embedded Systems department. Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for the electronics part of the solutions: systems or products, which we develop and produce for and in consultation with our customers. In your position you fulfil an intermediary role between the customer and the department and frequent customer contact is a must. By asking the right questions you get the customer's wishes to the surface so that we can offer a solution that meets the customer's needs as closely as possible. From your professional adult role you are able to manage juniors in addition to your own work and teach them the tricks of the trade.
In this position, you will be working on a variety of projects in a project-based manner, with a wide variety of projects falling within your work package. You can think of projects within the automotive, industry, medical or semiconductor industry. Together with the project leader, you coordinate the planning and discuss the progress and deviations within the project and you are the one who draws the content of the project.
Your tasks also include:

What are you going to do as an Electro Mechanical Designer?
As an Electro Mechanical Designer you find it a challenge to be at the beginning of the design of electro-technical / electro-mechanical modules / machines for our clients. You will be part of the Electromechanics team within the Design & Engineering department and participate in an internal project team. This means that you are the link between the project leader, architect and other team members. Together with about 35 fellow designers, you are responsible for the electromechanical part of the solution that we produce for and in consultation with our clients. You communicate with the customers in the context of assignments and are regularly work at the site of our customer. By asking the right questions you will get the customer's wishes to the surface so that we can produce a solution that meets the customer's needs as closely as possible. Questions such as which materials are to be used and which production techniques are to be used are matters that are dealt with on a daily basis. As a Mechanical Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the engineering department technically. It involves the design and engineering of lifting and/or handling tools and equipment.

Mammoet is in the process of setting up a new division. This new division will focus on the design and supply of lifting and handling tools for the high-tech industry. Conbit has become part of Mammoet as part of the ALE acquisition finalized in January 2020. It is a unique brand specialized in special lifting in often unique circumstances and environments. The high-tech industry is a perfect diversification of both Conbit as well as the Mammoet portfolio. Conbit is running projects globally and able to support clients globally as well. DHL Supply Chain is looking for an experienced reach truck driver with a great interest in logistics.
As a reach truck driver at DHL you receive goods from a large high-tech organization in the area. It is important that you handle these products with care and place them in the right location in the warehouse.
In this warehouse you use hand scanners and you work with the SAP system. Handy with computers is handy here! You also have good communication skills in English, because you work in an international environment. Thanks to your knowledge and commitment, everything runs smoothly within DHL.
You work in 2 or 3 shifts: 05:30 - 14:30 / 15:00 - 00:00 (21:00 - 06:00). You change shifts every week.
Once every 2 weeks you are also scheduled in the weekend, Saturday or Sunday, flexibility is therefore a must.

Are you an experienced procurement professional and do you consider it your personal challenge to shape the category Semiconductor Components (active and passive)? Would you like to take on the challenge together with us to become one Neways, by further strategizing and professionalizing our procurement organization and be a member of our Procurement Academy? Then become our new Category Manager and bring this category to a higher level!

What are you going to do as a Category Manager?
You will be working in the Corporate Procurement department together with six other Category Managers and specialists for Technology, Contracting and Business Processes. Together with them and the Managers Procurement in the OC's you are a member of the Procurement Leadership, working together intensively to drive the development of the Procurement function and to contribute to the strategic ambitions of Neways to become one Neways. You are responsible for defining and implementing the procurement strategy of the Semiconductors category and arranging the best possible conditions, focusing on Quality, Logistics, Technology and Total Costs (QLTC). With your management skills, you lead the team of Semiconductor buyers who work in the different Operating Companies (OC's). With this Category Team you set up and manage the Semiconductor supply base in line with the category strategy. You are involved in operational escalations from the OC's. Therefore you will meet with these buyers and with their site procurement managers in The Netherlands and abroad on a regular basis, both on-line and on-site. You will give them functional direction and, as a project leader, you are responsible for a number of procurement projects. Procurement is in full development, therefor we implemented the "Neways Procurement Academy" for all procurement employees within the Neways organization.

Your tasks also include:
  • define category strategy and define and execute the implementation plan, within the guidelines of the Neways Group sourcing strategy and company goals;
  • create alignment and full commitment for your category strategy with stakeholders on all levels within the company and in all operating companies;
  • be accountable for the management of all supplier accounts within your category within the total Neways Group; this includes QLTC performance management, periodic account meetings and business reviews on management and senior management level;
  • be accountable for negotiations executed by the buyers in your team;
  • work closely together with the Procurement Technology Officer and Neways Technologies in different processes;
  • maintain and expand relationships with the most important semiconductor distributors and manufacturers;
  • actively support customer bid processes with the best possible semiconductor solutions.

What do we ask of you?
You are an experienced manager and know how to organize and improve the internal procurement organization in an effective and inspiring way. You make things transparent and discussable and do not avoid conflicts. Furthermore, we ask:
  • A bachelor or master in the field of technical business, for example electronics, mechanical engineering or technical business administration.
  • Relevant diplomas in the field of procurement (e.g. NEVI-1 and NEVI-2, preferably NEVI-3).
  • Excellent level of verbal and written communicative and contractual skills in Dutch, English and German is desirable.
  • Analytical and structured.
  • Leader of change.
  • Good listener and effective conflict management while maintaining the relationship.
  • Fulltime availability.
