What You'll Do  

  • Responsible for the management and coordination of IT Continuity Management, including Continuity planning, Crisis Management/Communication and Disaster Recovery throughout the TomTom Group
  • Responsible for designing, developing and deploying an IT Continuity Management framework, processes, and guidelines throughout the business
  • To coordinate Business Impact Analysis of all business units
  • Ensure the company’s IT CM/DR planning and approach remains fully aligned with changing regulation
  • Making sure that the Head of Security, Head of GRC and other senior stake holders are kept informed of latest trends and developments in the IT and Business Continuity Management world
  • Lead the development of the company’s resilience
  • Facilitate the validation of the recovery process through regular exercising

What you’ll need  

  • Education to Degree Level
  • Good project & program management skills with process change implementation experience
  • 5 – 10 years IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience with implementing a program, framework and relevant processes
  • Excellent understanding of the IT continuity and DR processes, methodologies and Industry standards
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills including good report writing skills and measuring key results
  • Self-starter, experience working independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details 

What’s nice to have 

  • Understanding of current and emerging IT, cyber security risks, and innovative risk management methods and solutions 
  •  CMCS, CBCP or other BCM relevant industry certification(s) or memberships

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the Marketing Manager you will primarily help grow brand awareness and familiarity among potential new recruits, attracting qualified leads worldwide. Partnering with the HR/ Recruitment team, Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Managers from others IMC offices and Global Head of Marketing, you will manage all local marketing initiatives. Your main focus will be recruitment marketing; you will be in the lead for all campus and experienced-hire recruitment including events (in-house, campus, online), EDMs, careers site upkeep and merchandising management. Besides that, you will be taking on internal marketing projects as well as marketing around our sales activities and team.
This role is both strategic as well as operational, some specific tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be the guardian of the IMC brand, ensuring it is used in all our marketing activities, both internal and external;

As the Marketing Manager you will primarily help grow brand awareness and familiarity among potential new recruits, attracting qualified leads worldwide. Partnering with the HR/ Recruitment team, Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Managers from others IMC offices and Global Head of Marketing, you will manage all local marketing initiatives. Your main focus will be recruitment marketing; you will be in the lead for all campus and experienced-hire recruitment including events (in-house, campus, online), EDMs, careers site upkeep and merchandising management. The Global Operational Risk Manager operates at Group level with a focus on the optimization of the Operational Risk and Control Framework for IMC and reports directly to the Group Chief Risk Officer. Our Risk Management teams operate closely with the Trading and Technology teams in order to manage the inherent risks in IMC’s trading strategies across various technologies. The Risk Management team is responsible for identifying and assessing risks, determining adequate controls and developing risk metrics and tools to monitor these risks.

The role is based in Amsterdam but will also require travelling to our offices in the US and APAC.

To excel in this role you will combine your risk management expertise and analytical skills to add value without creating bureaucracy to the business.

Within Solvinity the Security & Compliance team is growing to meet the changing demands of security & compliance from our clients and the assurance frameworks we work towards, such as SOC 2 and ISO27001. The team is looking for a IT Compliance Officer, who has the ability to provide advice and guidance to our team and management.


The position


As a Solvinity IT Compliance Officer, your role is important in helping Solvinity uphold its commitment to best practice compliance and security leadership. You will engage in a challenging as well as complex role within a growing company, supporting the Security & Compliance team. A large amount of work is documented and you will be exposed to all of the tools and techniques we use in assuring compliance. You'll evaluate the risks involved in complex hybrid cloud environments across different operating systems and technologie. You will further develop by deep knowledge and establishing in-depth relationships with engineers, security & compliance team members and external parties. We, in turn, will make sure you are focused on your personal development outside of this with courses and training.


Key tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Promote quality and continuous improvement in the organization's control processes;
  • Perform compliance tasks, such as access reviews and internal audits;
  • Establish and monitor policy compliance, standards, procedures and applicable laws and regulations;
  • Understand the technical challenges of the business and work alongside them to Identify and manage risks;
  • Advise and support directors and management in all parts of the organization;
  • Identify and implement relevant legislative or regulatory issues that will affect the organization;
  • Be a key part of the Security & Compliance team’s effort to maintain SOC 2 compliance and IS027001 certification for Solvinity;


The team

Security & Compliance aims to determine the effectiveness of the system of risk management and control as well as the management of the organization. The team needs to verify the management structure, control and organization of the board, whether the management functions still work effectively and adequately as designed. The team consists of a total of seven people whom work closely with the various customer and platform engineers. The IT Compliance Officer reports to the Security & Compliance Manager.

  • You have experience in a Service Organization or technical environment similar to Solvinity, understanding the risks involved in complex hybrid cloud environments across different operating systems and technologies;
  • You preferably have at least 3 years of experience as an (internal or external) IT auditor;
  • You have completed an audit qualification (RE / CISA);
  • You can demonstrate a proven ability to work in a team;
  • You have excellent communication and social skills;
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an inquisitive nature to detect issues others have not identified;
  • You are persuasive in your approach and communication, both internally and externally, both in writing and orally, both Dutch and English;
  • You are results oriented and able to work with deadlines;
  • You are able to build and maintain alliances with other groups and teams;
  • You are able to identify and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Responsible for designing, developing and deploying an IT Continuity Management framework, processes, and guidelines throughout the business

  • Ensure the company’s IT CM/DR planning and approach remains fully aligned with changing regulation

  • Lead the development of the company’s resilience
  • Facilitate the validation of the recovery process through regular exercising

What you’ll need  

  • Education to Degree Level
  • Good project & program management skills with process change implementation experience
  • 5 – 10 years IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience with implementing a program, framework and relevant processes
  • Excellent understanding of the IT continuity and DR processes, methodologies and Industry standards
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills including good report writing skills and measuring key results
  • Self-starter, experience working independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details

  • Understanding of current and emerging IT, cyber security risks, and innovative risk management methods and solutions
