Role

The Customer Outcomes Platform Architect is a technical advisory role, responsible for helping our customers establish a strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that drive business outcomes.  This entails establishing and supporting best practices around instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations and the overall technical health of the platform.  This is a highly consultative role that does not perform configuration on the platform, but guides partner and customer resources to deliver best practices.  This role interfaces with the customer across executive, platform owner, enterprise architects and development teams during the selling, structuring and implementation of solutions.

An ideal candidate will have a achieved a senior level position as an enterprise architect and successful track record in management consulting, (professional services firms or cloud software company), focused on technology strategy, governance, data and solution design.  They will have demonstrated the ability to become a trusted advisor to senior executives and facilitate customer success from strategic planning functions including business value identification, road mapping, as well as advising and defining successful execution strategies including governance frameworks and managing large enterprise programs.

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in management consulting leadership roles at a top-tier consulting company focused on technology (Digital/SaaS/Enterprise Software)
  • Worked in architect capacity at Fortune 500 or OEM Software Vendor
  • Service Management implementation experience
  • 5+ years large program experience leading architecture and design
  • Enterprise Architect role and relevant experience
  • Experience working with functional business leaders
  • Experience identifying business objectives and developing outcome-focused roadmaps
  • Experience working with large Consulting/SI organizations.
  • Exposure to strategic platform implementations like SAP, SFDC, WKDAY, Success Factors, Oracle Cloud

The Role

The Team

You will be part of the Product Technology Support Team, reporting to the Technical Operations Director.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support customers and coaches primarily in EMEA but you will also work with end users in APAC and the Americas.
  • Field incoming problem tickets, as a Tier 2 resource, providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
  • Managing ticketed query system and ensuring requests, issues and resolutions are kept up to date
  • Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through final resolution
  • Analyse issue resolution data, make recommendations for support process improvement, and assist in the implementation of changes
  • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management and development team members
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-up to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Work cooperatively with development, release and quality assurance personnel in the design, testing, and delivery of custom developed applications
  • Test the delivered functionality in real-world scenarios and collaborate with external and internal development teams to address issues found during UAT, and validates that corrective actions taken by development resolve those issues
  • Manage the client onboarding set-up, from close to launch date

 

About You

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent amount of experience and/or training
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an application support, or equivalent type of role
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL in a SQL Server environment and the ability to write simple SQL queries
  • Experience providing application support services to defined SLAs

What will you be doing?
You will be involved in our client’s digital transformation programs during requirements definition, project design, scoping, delivery, and integration. Bij het CBR doen we werk dat er toe doet. Dagelijks werken we met meer dan 1.500 medewerkers aan de verkeersveiligheid. Zodat aan het eind van de dag iedereen veilig kan thuiskomen. Dat doen we door jaarlijks meer dan een miljoen theorie- en praktijkexamens af te nemen. En te beoordelen of bestuurders medisch geschikt zijn om aan het verkeer deel te nemen. Als maatschappelijke organisatie staan we midden in de samenleving: 95 procent van de Nederlanders komt op enig moment in zijn leven bij ons langs als klant: de één voor zijn rijbewijs, de ander voor een certificaat waarmee hij zijn beroep kan uitoefenen. Zo hebben we ook schippers in de binnenvaart en beroepsvliegers als klant.
We zijn volop in beweging. De klant verwacht dat wij onze processen vlot en digitaal afhandelen en ze effectief informeren over de status van hun examenaanvraag of medische beoordeling. Bovendien staat de zelfrijdende auto staat voor de deur! Ook zetten we de eerste stappen met het analyseren van big data en het monitoren van bestuurders via track&trace-kastjes in de auto. Dat doen we niet alleen, maar in nauwe samenwerking met kennispartners als de RDW, Rijkswaterstaat, de TU-Delft en de Stichting Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Verkeersveiligheid.
De ICT-afdeling is de verbindende schakel tussen de technologie en de business. Onze medewerkers in Rijswijk zitten bovenop het primaire proces. Functieomschrijving
Het projectmanagersteam is onderdeel van de ICT afdeling. Als project manager sta jij voor de opgave om projecten met meerdere leveranciers en teams tot een goed einde te brengen. Dit doe je zowel voor de business aspecten als voor de ICT componenten. Daarom zoeken we een projectmanager die verantwoordelijk en resultaatgericht is en oog heeft voor business value van deze organisatie.
Als project manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het organiseren, uitvoeren en begeleiden van projecten van het inhoudelijk concept tot en met de daadwerkelijke implementatie en uitvoering. Deze projecten kennen vaak meerdere belanghebbenden en er worden zo nodig externe partijen ingeschakeld. Je richt een effectieve workflow in waarbij coördinatie (van o.a. projectteams), projectplanning, kwaliteit- en kostenbewaking centraal staan.

What will you do?

The Project Manager position offers the opportunity to join Xylem’s Digital Transformations driven, contrarian, creative experts in their endeavor to use high tech tools to solve age-old infrastructure problems. You will lead complex projects both in the Netherlands (mainly) and further in the world using your expert project management skills, technical knowledge, and your passion for client success. What are your essential duties/principal responsibilities?

  • Work with team members to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and on-scope.
  • Maintain project management tools for project tracking, billing, and projections.
  • Serve as technical interface with clients, business managers and commercial teams and provide direction to the engineering team. Coordinate activities with engineers in other disciplines (environmental, civil, electrical, and software)
  • Present optimization concepts to utility managers.
  • Make complex, cutting-edge ideas understandable and exciting to utility managers.

What do wo ask from you for this position?

  • Graduation from a four-year university with a major in engineering, or related field.
  • A certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer issued by the local state/country authority a plus (or the ability to obtain in 12 months).
  • 5+ years of experience in working with utilities at planning and operation management levels.
  • Excellent command of Dutch language (written and spoken): native speaker preferred
  • Must have education/experience and accountability for cost control and profit targets and managing a project budget.
  • Experience with developing and managing programs, scheduling and implementation with ability to plan, assign, direct and coordinate a variety of functional specialties with overlapping work areas a plus.
  • Experience with managing engineers, suppliers, and sub-contractors a plus.
  • PMP Certification a plus.

Role

The Customer Outcomes Platform Architect is a technical advisory role, responsible for helping our customers establish a strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that drive business outcomes.  This entails establishing and supporting best practices around instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations and the overall technical health of the platform.  This is a highly consultative role that does not perform configuration on the platform, but guides partner and customer resources to deliver best practices.  This role interfaces with the customer across executive, platform owner, enterprise architects and development teams during the selling, structuring and implementation of solutions.

An ideal candidate will have a achieved a senior level position as an enterprise architect and successful track record in management consulting, (professional services firms or cloud software company), focused on technology strategy, governance, data and solution design.  They will have demonstrated the ability to become a trusted advisor to senior executives and facilitate customer success from strategic planning functions including business value identification, road mapping, as well as advising and defining successful execution strategies including governance frameworks and managing large enterprise programs.
