Give advice to Management on complex legal issues, taking guidance as necessary. Deal with disciplinary and grievance appeals for GANT Benelux. Keep HR policies and procedures updated in line with Benelux employment legislation. Ensures the maintenance of personnel files for all staff; archive leavers annually, collecting store personnel file at point of person leaving with HR Admin. Ensures annual salary reviews are processed for HQ and Retail employees, including the processing of letters confirming annual increase amounts for HQ staff with HR Admin. Voor onze opdrachtgever zijn wij op zoek naar een (Senior) HR Adviseur voor 32 - 40 uur per week. In deze veelzijdige en dynamische functie zit je het ene moment aan tafel met een medewerker om vervolgens aan te schuiven bij het MT overleg. De voertaal in het MT is Engels aangezien er meerdere nationaliteiten bij betrokken zijn.
Je werkt voor meerdere groepen binnen de organisatie en hebt te maken met verschillende HR thema's. Speerpunten voor dit jaar zijn o.a. het terugdringen van het ziekteverzuim, duurzame inzetbaarheid en health & safety. In deze allround HR rol wordt je ondersteund door meerdere administratieve collega's en zijn er altijd mogelijkheden om te sparren met de andere HR Adviseurs en de HR Manager. De standplaats voor deze functie is Wanssum (kop van Limburg) maar ook het bezoeken van andere vestigingen in het land behoort tot je takenpakket. Jij gaat je o.a. bezighouden met:
  • Operationeel ga je o.a. aan de slag met het voeren van gesprekken met medewerkers, de search naar nieuwe medewerkers, het ondersteunen van leidinggevenden bij lastige gesprekken, het beheren van het ziekteverzuim etc.

Over jou
  • HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau

De organisatie en afdeling
Onze opdrachtgever is een toeleverancier voor de Bouw- en Infrasector en heeft zo'n 20 vestigingen verspreidt over de Benelux. De organisatie is opgericht in de jaren 30 van de vorige eeuw en sindsdien zijn zij uitgegroeid tot een toonaangevende speler in de markt.
Op dit moment zijn er zo'n 200 medewerkers actief binnen de organisatie, waarvan het grootste deel bestaat uit chauffeurs. Kenmerkend voor de organisatie zijn de lange dienstverbanden, het internationale karakter en de doeners mentaliteit.
De HR afdeling bestaat uit een HR Manager, 2 HR Adviseurs en 3 HR Administratieve krachten. Daarnaast is er ook nog een externe salarisadministrateur.

The HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring our HR Service is efficient and effective for all employees at Illumina, Eindhoven and aross Europe. You will be the first point of contact for employee queries and will provide support to both HRBPs and Talent Acquisition. 

 

Responsibilities will include 

 

  • Ensure HR service delivery is efficient and effective 

  • First point of contact for HR connect and managing employee queries  

  • Candidate Management - Manage candidate communications and paperwork 

  • Update and maintain new hire dashboard.  

  • Organising and delivering onboarding for new joiners 

  • Creating offer paperwork, closing out candidate records 

  • Liaison with payroll on queries 

  • Dashboard updates 

  • Support Transfer for outside EMEA / internal transition 

  • Visa Checking  

  • Referral monitoring  

  • Employee Relation support – Manage Leave of Abenses, support with documentation

About the team Reporting to the Head of HR NE, the HR Manager - Benelux takes responsibility for all aspects of Human Resources across GANT Benelux with the support of a HR Administrator. The HR Manager will ensure all HR projects are delivered on time and with high quality. The HR Manager will also be responsible for the overall 360 degree Employee Lifecycle from recruitment, to end of employment ensuring the best possible candidate experience and uphold GANT’S overall Employer Branding. Responsibilities The HR Manager Benelux will be responsible for: Supporting Head of HR NE with ensuring Company Values are embedded, known and portrayed in how we interact with all internal and external stakeholders and customers (Retail) in GANT Benelux. Employer Branding - reviewing and suggesting ways to promote the GANT Brand/Company as an Employer of choice in GANT Benelux to the Head of HR to NE. Follows recruitment strategy; supports with the recruitment for roles in head office and retail in GANT Benelux. Provides information to the Head of HR NE regarding salary benchmarking in GANT Benelux. Supports Line Managers with and performance management/review processes in line with local legislation. Administrates the Company’s global annual performance review and target setting process in GANT Benelux Oversee payroll system, check head office monthly payroll reports and input onto system if necessary in liaison with HR Admin. Review insurances (legal protection, private medical) annually ensuring they continue to provide cost effective solutions and report findings and suggestions to Head of HR NE. Review benefit packages for employees of GANT Benelux and propose any changes or additions to the Head of HR NE. Provides HR metrics to Head of HR NE for GANT Benelux – e.g. turnover data, monthly establishment lists, absence reports. Ensure the organisation complies with, Dutch and Belgium employment law, and provide interpretation to the Head of HR NE and relevant managers as required. Give advice to Management on complex legal issues, taking guidance as necessary. Deal with disciplinary and grievance appeals for GANT Benelux. Keep HR policies and procedures updated in line with Benelux employment legislation. Ensures the maintenance of personnel files for all staff; archive leavers annually, collecting store personnel file at point of person leaving with HR Admin. Ensures annual salary reviews are processed for HQ and Retail employees, including the processing of letters confirming annual increase amounts for HQ staff with HR Admin.
