Functie-eisen

Je bent HBO + opgeleid binnen Finance, maar wij helpen je nog verder. Tot een Future Proof Financial door o.a. trainingen en masterclasses. Je eerste sporen zijn verdiend binnen Finance, en je bent toe een 2e stap in je carrière.

Je bent woonachtig in Zuid-Oost Brabant of Limburg en beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.

• Het bewaken van de financiële positie en resultaten van de organisatie;

Dit is de rol

Boels pitstop
Doel van de afdeling Accounting en het team is om binnen onze complexe Boels omgeving alle activiteiten tijdig en juist uit te voeren waarbij de (interne) klant centraal staat. De focus igt op het continu verbeteren van processen en systemen om zo de kwaliteit en efficiëntie te verhogen en daarmee de voortdurende groei (organisch en door acquisities) van Boels te ondersteunen. Als Accounting Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen van het accounting team dat bestaat uit 18 medewerkers (zowel operationeel als op het gebied van coaching en ontwikkeling). Je bent verantwoordelijk voor voeren van de totale Boels boekhouding met als doel een juiste en tijdige periodeafsluiting (maand, kwartaal en jaar) en financiële informatie. Ook acteer jij als specialist op het gebied van Treasury operaties. Samen met de Group Finance Director en Manager Financial Control ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van verschillende jaarrekeningen (incl. jaarrekeningcontroles). Daarnaast is het een team in ontwikkeling en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het continu verbeteren van systemen en processen om het werk binnen het team efficiënter te maken en de kwaliteit van het werk te verbeteren. Zowel de processen binnen Boels als de overnames staan niet stil. Je initieert en participeert in veranderprojecten en de integratie van overgenomen bedrijven. Naast al deze taken ben jij degene die vanuit het Accounting team de contacten met de andere afdelingen binnen Boels onderhoudt. Je zorgt voor een optimale samenwerking tussen de verschillende afdelingen. Je ziet deze stap met name ook om onderdeel van een succesvolle organisatie te worden en bij Boels, ook een aantal vervolgstappen te maken.

Het Oranje team en jij
De afdeling accounting bestaat uit een ambitieus team met verschillende specialisaties. Het team is verantwoordelijk voor een breed scala aan finance activiteiten waaronder accounting, maand/kwartaal rapportages, jaarrekeningen, treasury, facturatie en BTW aangiftes. Deze werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd voor alle Boels entiteiten die actief zijn in 18 landen in Europa.
Om succesvol te zijn als Accounting Manager breng je het volgende mee:

• minimaal een HBO-diploma in een financiële richting;
• minimaal 5 jaar ervaring met het leiden van een team en ervaring met de hierboven genoemde werkzaamheden;

• goede communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels, Duits is een pré

• ervaring met het werken met SAP en ervaring met Excel op een advanced niveau;
• kennis en ervaring met zowel Dutch GAAP als IFRS;
• nauwkeurigheid en kwaliteitsgerichtheid;
• een sterke drive om continu procesverbeteringen door te voeren;

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary responsibility of the Cash-to-Collect (CtC) Business Analyst is to support the delivery of successful acquisition integration programs. This individual will be partnering with program/project managers and business functions across Boston Scientific, and its acquired businesses, to ensure efficient and high-quality processes. 

The CtC Business Analyst is responsible for developing standardized processes and implements solutions that meet the business needs. This role will report to the Operational Excellence Manager.

YOUR REPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• As a Subject Matter Expert, provide Credit- & Cash Collection process/content knowledge as input in projects
• Defines project plans, timelines, resources, roles, tasks and risks, by using project management tools 
• Appropriately communicates status updates, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.
• Fosters business partnering by collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including legacy-BSC and acquired businesses
• Works closely with development teams (internal and external) to assure timely solutions are delivered according to the specifications and implementation requirements of the business.
• Drives or participates in all stages of process and system integration from gathering user requirements and researching options, design, configuration/development and testing, to rollout and maintenance.
• Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and establishes effective and efficient processes using Lean methods.
• Ensures that processes and related systems meet all applicable compliance requirements.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• BS/BA Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of working experience in Credit- & Cash Collection management or Account Receivables is a must  
• Experience in a business process analyst a/o project role, is preferred
• Continuous Improvement mindset is a must, and a LEAN, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificate is an asset
• Experience working in matrix structured multinationals, preferable within Operational Excellence, Shared Services or Business Process Outsourcing environment
• Experience within the GEM region is an asset
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Adaptable to changing situations and priorities
• Advance knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with SAP or other ERP’s is a must
• Able to work in a collaborative virtual setting

Als Informatie Adviseur Applicaties kom je te werken in het I&A team. Dit team maakt momenteel een grote verandering door.
