Data Engineer – R, Python, Data Science
My client, a global insurance marketing consultancy company, is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam.

You will be working on developing and managing MI models and increasing the Data Science within the group within a really inclusive and international team and with a lot of room for career progression!

I am looking for someone with the following skills/experience –

• Data Science programming languages ( Python and/or R )
• Experience in data science (text mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning)
• Experience with predictive modelling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering classification (e.g GLMs, Decision Trees, SVM, Random Forests, GBM, PCA, Bayesian Networks, Neural Networks)
• Experience with software development (GIT, docstring / CI) (MLflow would be a plus)
• Experience working with remote devices (ssh / basic Linux) & Docker
• Experience with database query tools (SQL or NoSQL)
• Knowledge of ethical practices and explanability tools (SHAP)
• Masters degree in Science / Technology or similar subject
• Experience with web applications would be a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms would be a plus

• Increasing the Data Science knowledge and presenting to stakeholders on complex topics
• Exploring Machine Learning tools and methods
• Contributing to the global infrastructure with AutoML and visualization etc.
• Working on research and local projects 
• Advancing market focused data analytics projects with third parties
• Being a key distributor of knowledge and advanced understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning

Je voert reparatie- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden uit op verschillende locaties in en rondom Amsterdam. Ook pak je de storingsdiensten mee. En op wat een gave plekken kom je. Je bent op universiteiten, scholen, mega luxe kantoren en bekende musea. Elke locatie vraagt om andere service en communicatieve vaardigheden. Voor jou een eitje. Jij weet je als een kameleon aan te passen aan de omgeving. Je lost de complexe vraagstukken zelfstandig op en bespreekt de servicewerkzaamheden met de projectcoördinator en de afdelingschef.

• Relevante MBO-4 opleiding, E&I / WTB;
• Ervaring in het onderhoud van gebouwgebonden installaties.
  Wij bieden
• Basis salaris € 2.750 en € 3.500 bruto per maand;
• Wat betreft de toekomst: wij betalen 2/3 van je pensioenpremie en jij 1/3;

What does a Solvineer do?

The day of an engineer at Solvinity is filled with challenging tasks: a nice mix of design and management. You work in a dedicated customer team of about ten people and are responsible from start to finish for a set of customers with very diverse environments. You manage and configure customer environments from application servers to databases and make sure everything runs smoothly. You help other engineers and at the same time learn from colleagues who know more about, for example, Linux, Infra or Security.

Many of our customers want to release frequently, therefore we apply CI/CD and Micro Services Architectures based on containers. Customers who are not so far advanced in this area are taken along on the journey to DevOps, CI/CD, containers and (public) cloud technology.

Your growth

You will run increasingly larger projects, which become more complex and have more impact for customers. You will develop further by going into depth with customers, software vendors and of course your colleagues. In turn, we will keep you sharp with up-to-date courses and training.

What do we expect from you?

• You have at least 5+ years of experience as an engineer in an Enterprise environment;
• You have a HBO/WO work and thinking level;
• Solid Windows knowledge
• The Public Cloud such as Azure has no secrets for you;
• Are you able to write simple programs in Python? Good!
• Additional experience with VMWare, Windows Server 2012 and 2016 is a nice to have;
• With colleagues and customers you like to talk about technology, innovation and smart solutions;

Wat doet een Solvineer?

The Customer Success team is tasked with the global installation, support and customer onboarding for these solutions. We are now looking for a Field Application Engineer to join this team.

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be the first technical person customers will want to talk with. You will help customers understand the capabilities of our solutions, and work with them to get value out of these solutions as quickly as possible.

Your daily work focuses on helping customers to get value the solutions installed in the field as quickly as possible, without any hiccups. That means preparing installation plans, responding to customer inquiries, keeping documentation and the online self-service portal polished to perfection, and find solutions to problems when needed.
