Dataplace bestaat sinds 2011 en is sinds 2016 onderdeel van de Eurofiber Group. Wij leveren vanuit zes moderne carrier neutrale Tier III datacenters in de regio’s Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Arnhem en Brabant, hoogwaardige (twin-) datacenterdiensten. Ons onderscheidend vermogen uit zich in kennis en ervaring in datacentermanagement en de persoonlijke aandacht voor klanten. Inmiddels maken vele IT gerelateerde ondernemingen, overheidsinstellingen, zorginstellingen en beursgenoteerde bedrijven tevreden gebruik van de dienstverlening van Dataplace.

De afdeling Operations bewaakt en realiseert een 100% werking van de technische installaties en infrastructuur van de Dataplace datacenters die over Nederland zijn verspreid. Ons Operations team fungeert als de handen en ogen van onze klanten en speelt snel in op hun behoeften. Onze klanten vertrouwen erop dat wij 24/7 betrouwbare datacenter- en netwerkdiensten bieden. Het draait allemaal om inzicht in elektrotechnische installaties, koelsystemen en databekabeling, nauwgezet werken en het behoud van onze klanttevredenheid.
Wat houdt de functie in?
We zoeken iemand die van alle markten thuis is, een echte ‘manusje van alles’. Jij wordt de oren en ogen van Dataplace en houdt van veel variatie in je dagelijkse werk. In deze functie ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor een optimale werking van onze datacenters. Daarnaast werk je aan een 100% uptime en ben je het aanspreekpunt voor klanten. Je draagt de zorg voor, en handelt projecten af ten behoeve van klantopleveringen binnen de gestelde tijd en norm. Je zorgt ervoor dat onze datacenters er netjes en verzorgt bij staat door controle rondes te lopen en schoonmaakwerkzaamheden uit te voeren.
Het speelveld van contacten bevindt zich zowel binnen als buiten de eigen afdeling en organisatie. Je werkt in wisselend teamverband samen met diverse afdelingen binnen Dataplace, leveranciers en klanten. Je streeft de doelstellingen van Dataplace na. Je kent en werkt volgens onze kwaliteits- en informatiebeveiligingsprocessen (onder meer ISO) en bewaakt deze door afwijkingen te melden. Je behaalt en onderhoudt de voor je werkgebied benodigde certificeringen. In deze functie draai je mee in het consignatiedienst rooster. Daarbij kun je ook bij complexe of langdurende storingen, gedurende de uren buiten kantoortijd opgeschakeld worden. De werkzaamheden vinden plaats op al onze datacenter locaties. Je rapporteert aan de Manager Operations.

Je bent een energieke, gedreven en zelfstandige persoonlijkheid. Daarbij functioneer je als een echte teamspeler. Je beschikt over een afgeronde elektrotechnisch opleiding, hebt ervaring in een soortgelijke rol en ruime kennis en ervaring met UTP (Cat 5 t/m 7), koper en glasvezel.
