To create an ultimate TSH experience, we’re looking for a Community, Events & Operations Intern to join our on-site operational team.
Under the supervision of the events, community & partnerships manager (TSH Connector), you’ll have the opportunity to help set up a wide range of events and activities for our vibrant student communities locally and across Europe, assist with new and existing brand partnerships and play a key role in the day-today operations of The Student Hotel in Maastricht.
We are looking for Community, Events & Operations Intern to start by February 2021 for a period of 5 months or longer.

As our hotels expand across Europe, so will the number of brand partnerships and our vibrant international community, and we’ll need you across it all to ensure we’re working as effectively as possible.
You’ll be working alongside our Connectors to help position TSH as the true local hotspot for Maastricht, attract a local network of influencers and change-makers to join us and assist with ongoing programs. You’ll be working amongst our student community, playing a key role in helping to maintain the student spirit and, with selected partners, to build, activate and engage these communities through great creative experiences in multiple locations that grow brand awareness.

You’re the leader of the pack, the hands-on party starter and the shoulder to laugh and cry on, so you must feel comfortable in the middle of the actions! You’re open, approachable and people person with hands-on mentality and a structured way of working.

Your Mission should you choose to accept it
As our Sales & operations Intern, you’ll be in charge of converting leads into booking to make sure all are semester rooms are sold out for the new academic year. You’ll experience a steep learning curve on anything sales and costumer operations; either when you’re giving a tour to a potential students, or helping out online questions, you’ll be at the forefront of it all. By being organised and efficient in your work, you'll create a seamless costumer experience. You'll maintain clear lines of communication with your team, and potential students. You will join the team at in our hotel for a period of 5 months starting on the 1st May 2021.

As a Customer Service Representative you are going to work in the middle of Maastricht. The service 24h department, is a special department that provides roadside assistance to customers in the Benelux.
Customers experiencing a car breakdown, can contact you 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.
You are responsible for incoming calls, you collect personal information, you make a situational analysis and process all the information in your digital systems.
If you have the solution right away, that’s perfect! If not, you act quickly and will contact the nearest dealership, who can send technical support.
You strive to get the customer back on the road, as quick as possible! During this whole process, you are responsible for the customer’s satisfaction.
You always strive for perfect customer service. You have great communication skills and are able to communicate in French, English and Dutch. You always have your eyes on the result and you are stress resistant. Do you also have a laptop? That would be a bonus!
For this position you will start the 1st of March or April. First you will start with 3 weeks of training and after that a buddy will get assigned to you. You are more than happy to occasionally work during the nights and weekends, because this gives you a lot of flexibility.
You will be the first, and only, point of contact for customers who experience a car breakdown! You make sure they can continue to travel as fast as possible.
You are going to work in the biggest customer assistance center in the middle of Maastricht. Here you will work with colleagues from all over the world!
