Job Description Explore the Opportunities with Service at RotorkAs a thriving global organisation, we are experiencing significant growth across our Service function, with a strategy aimed at doubling our size over the next 5 years.  Here in the Netherlands, we see even stronger growth potential for our Services teams, and have plans to substantially outgrow the market.  It is an exciting time to become part of our growing team. As you embark on the journey of Field Service Engineering at Rotork, you will advance through milestones, progressing towards the Senior Field Service Engineering level.  At this point, a well-defined strategy paves the way for a career progression towards the role of National Service Manager, or a number of other opportunities to step into specialist areas, here in the Netherlands or globally. You will be supported by our detailed training program along with our community of existing colleagues who are ready to assist you in overcoming any challenges.  An exciting professional journey awaits all new hires. The OpportunityAre you seeking a position with a global organization that prioritizes its employees in every aspect?  Rotork, a global organisation, is actively hiring in the Randstad region. This pivotal role involves delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products.  Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues. As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying faults, conducting repairs, testing and modifying actuators in the field.  You will also handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.  Accurate and technical site visit reports for each job completion are a key component of this role. This opportunity is ideal for a determined problem-solver who approaches troubleshooting logically and possesses the flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays.   The Successful Candidate:<ul><li>Has an MBO level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar.</li><li>Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories.</li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools.</li><li>Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.</li><li>Experience in a service-oriented field service role is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control technology is a plus.</li><li>Possession of VCA-VOL, NEN3140 (Competent Person), ATEX 001/003 is a plus.</li><li>EU National / already resident in the Netherlands</li><li>Strong communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch</li><li>Driving license B and willingness to travel within the Netherlands.</li></ul> What we offer:<ul><li>A good salary, depending on your experience and education.</li><li>25 vacation days and 13 ADV days on a full-time basis.</li><li>Annual bonus scheme (up to 15%) and 8% holiday pay; </li><li>Company car (van) in accordance with lease arrangement.</li><li>Participation in PMT collective pension fund.</li><li>Overtime pay.</li><li>Participation in the Rotork share scheme after two years.</li><li>Professional training at the Rotork academy in England. </li></ul>  Additional Information  Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.For over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
