Functieomschrijving
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary support team including maintenance engineers, process engineers, and production supervisors.
- Set clear team goals and KPIs aligned with manufacturing and business objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Operational Support
- Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager to define and align daily priorities for the support team.
- Ensure effective and timely support to the production floor to minimize downtime and optimize equipment availability.
- Provide technical guidance and decision-making in day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.
Project & Process Management
- Maintain an up-to-date overview of all technical projects, including ongoing and planned initiatives.
- Ensure timely execution and reporting of projects, managing resources and risks proactively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation of changes and improvements.
Continuous Improvement
- Support the definition and implementation of the site's Continuous Improvement Plan, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Track progress and create monthly performance reports for internal stakeholders.
- Promote a data-driven approach to process optimization and root cause analysis (RCA).
Manufacturing Support
- Act as the deputy to the Manufacturing Manager, stepping into their role during periods of absence.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to production strategy discussions.
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a technical or process/maintenance engineering leadership role, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive)
- Strong knowledge of automation, electro-mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance
- Demonstrated experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other CI methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills, including strong root cause analysis capabilities
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English and Dutch
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
