What will your role be?

As Tech Sales Consultant you explain, demonstrate and prove the value of 3DS Solutions to our clients through in-depth industry and technical expertise. You will work for the top companies in the Benelux within your industry domains.   • Through consultative selling approach, you assess customer business drivers and business processes, to propose our relevant Industry Process Solutions, running on the industry leading 3DEXPERIENCE Platform;
  • You explain, demonstrate and prove the value of our solutions to our clients based on your industry and technical expertise;
  • You develop, capitalize and extend (or coach partners on) our consultative selling approach based on our Industry Process Solutions.

 

The challenges ahead

  • Advise clients based on your in-depth understanding of their business processes your knowledge of our Product Portfolio Industry Solutions;
  • Advise Sales Representatives and other Tech Sales Consultants on technical solutions, leveraging your industry process knowledge;
  • Our customers are leaders in the following Industries: High Tech, Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Shipbuilding, Civil Infrastructure, Process Industry;
  • Map the customers “AS-IS” and “TO-BE” business processes;
  • Deliver demonstrations to support and articulate the solution proposal;
  • Lead technical sales engagements using a consultative selling approach;
  • Be able to act as trusted adviser;
  • Contribute to skills transfer by sharing personal knowledge within the team and by delivering technical or business presentations to the internal organization.

 

Your key success factors

  • Bachelor or Master in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent;
  • 5+ years of experience;
  • Knowledge of Industry processes in High Tech, Automotive, Industrial Equipment, Shipbuilding, Civil Infrastructure or Process Industry;
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical capabilities to deliver value beyond the base product, and articulate this in customer situations;
  • Relevant experience in PLM and CAD/CAE software is a big plus;
  • A commercial mindset and good presentation and people skills;
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude who likes to collaborate;
  • Fluent English, Dutch is a plus.
