We are looking for a Tactical Buyer to join our team in Dordrecht.

What will you do

As our new colleague you will join our local procurement team in Dordrecht, however you will be a Tactical Buyer dedicated to our UK business. You will manage the entire purchasing process from administrative purchasing (supplier set up, placing purchase orders) until contracting of suppliers. You are experienced in the field of purchasing, you have market knowledge in various purchasing areas and you provide a good market insight. You take responsibility to buy material and subcontracting at the right price and right time. You will work in a global surrounding in multidisciplinary teams.

Around 40% of your job is related to tactical procurement where managing commercial and contractual negotiations with external suppliers, the rest of your time you work is more related to administrative work.

How will you do it

Your key responsibilities include:

• Identify, research, evaluate and select suppliers that meet the organization#39;s standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply.
• Source new suppliers and renegotiate existing agreements with current suppliers.
• Placing purchase orders and intercompany order in our ERP.
• Finding of new suppliers to balance our supplier portfolio.
• Responsible for the payment process to suppliers.
• Responsible for the intercompany ordering of products.
• Keeping purchase prices up to date.
• Play an active role in improving the purchasing process.
• Purchase of various products and subcontracting in a wide area of work (Industrial Refrigeration).

Qualifications

What we look for

• HBO level with 5+ years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
• You have tactical procurement skillset such as good negotiation skills and finding saving opportunities. On the other hand, you like to do administrative follow-up like entering orders and setting up suppliers.
• Nevi 1 and Nevi 2.
• You are independent, dynamic self-starter and team player who can build bridges between different departments.
• You are a confident communicator and have close to native/excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build structure in processes.
• Technical affinity and good knowledge of Oracle and SAP (or another ERP system) are advantageous.
