Chemours is seeking a *Quality* *Manager* to join our team! This position will be part of the Site Leadership Team at our Dordrecht location.

Dordrecht site: Chemours Netherlands BV in Dordrecht is the most important production location in Europe for fluoropolymers such as Teflon ™ and Viton ™. The Chemours Company split off from DuPont in 2015 and continued independently as a listed company. It is a young and energetic company with more than 200 years of experience in manufacturing chemicals. Safety, health and the environment are the company’s top priorities as reflected in EUR 75mln investment in limiting the emissions.

Chemours Netherlands B.V. has c. 500 employees at this location and generates $261.12 million in sales (USD). The operations are divided between 4 production units and operate 5 shifts (24/7) model. The primary responsibility of the role is the ownership of Quality Management Systems that leads to a quality mindset in the hearts and minds of the people at the plant in Dordrecht. This role interacts with the corporate organization, suppliers, customers, external stakeholders and auditors and translates these inputs into a quality strategy for the plant. The Quality Manager is managing a team of quality engineers/ coordinators (4 people) working on certifications, customer complaints and quality improvements in (new) processes and products. The other part of the role is managing the laboratory (+/-30 people) through two supervisors that focusses on the quality of the process (using inline analyses or monsters taking during the process) and the final product. The lab is running part in dayshift and part in 5 shift operation.

*The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*

* Builds quality culture and competency enabling organization to meet quality requirements.

* Leads and coordinates the quality activities including customer, supplier, regulator authority and internal interfaces on site and with the corporate organization.

* Responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS), customer satisfaction, quality certifications, quality related aspects of supplier and contract manufacturer relationships.

* Ensures quality management system is maintained consistent with business and regulatory needs.

* Ensures global best practices and procedures are leveraged as appropriate.

* Coordinates correct reporting, visualization, and communication of the quality policy and quality principles.

* Ensures consistent measurement and reporting of quality performance within the organization.

* Reviews and approves quality plans, incident investigations, control plans, Failure Mode and Effect Analyses (FMEAs) prior to communication to customers and internal organizations.

* Develop Critical Operating Tasks (COTs) and to establish metrics and performance goals consistent with business needs through established interactions in supply chain and business leadership meetings

* People management and all HR line management tasks for the Quality team making sure Chemours is a Great Place to Work.

*Skills/Education/ Experience:*

* Bachelor or University Degree

* Proven experience in Quality management role

* Audit capabilities

* Lean and Project Management certifications are a plus

* Experience in operational / manufacturing environment is required
