The ideal Media Buyer & Trader will have ad tech/programmatic campaign management experience, an analytical, strategic, and creative mind, as well as strong communication skills, both written and spoken. The position offers full immersion into the digital advertising space, with room for growth and personal advancement, while developing a core background in the industry, including: media, data, and strategy.
Reporting into the Director, Media Buying & Trading, the Media Buyer & Trader will own the campaign management of all of Digilant’s Full Service clients for search, social and programmatic campaigns. As a member of the Full Service Team within the Media Operations Team, the Media Buyer/Trader works within multiple programmatic, search and social buying platforms to actively manage major client campaigns for Digilant’s Full Service Clients. We are looking for a results-driven, detail- and numbers-oriented individual, who is able to solve problems creatively and analytically.
Manage and execute tasks involved with campaign management; including setup/trafficking, monitoring performance/delivery, reporting/analytics, optimization, billing/budgeting, , etc. in Social Platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat) and Search Platforms (Google, Bing). DSP experience a plus.
Troubleshoot campaign issues, pixel issues, and creative issues using DSPs, Paid Social platforms, and tagging tools like Google Tag Manager or AdForm.
Deliver timely and insightful reports based on campaign data analysis.
Executes and reports results for test & learn plans.
Maintains knowledge of ad technology buying platforms and analytics tools.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in programmatic campaign management in DSPs, Paid Social Platforms, and/or Search Platforms
Problem solving skills, including finding solutions for issues that have not yet been solved.
Ability to work within a highly collaborative, dynamic environment
Organized and process-oriented
Very strong written and spoken communication skills
Familiarity with Excel and constructing Pivot tables
Highly analytical and strategic
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
Disciplined and possess great attention to detail
Excited to keep up with the latest progress and trends in ad tech
Preferred Additional Qualifications
Combination of Search, Programmatic and Paid Social Experience
History of running and optimizing CPA/CPL campaigns
Exposure to tools like DoubleClick Suite, AdForm, SAP, Adverity, Google Tag Manager
Working knowledge of HTML, ad tag construction
